Item Description

A super example of the classic Hesselbach Mine Fluorites featuring sharp, rather gemmy, well-formed cubes with an alluring greenish-blue color free of matrix. Good condition, and very attractive compared to most I've seen from this locality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4768). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). Valued at $700.
