Fluorite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

A beautiful small cabinet specimen of dazzling geemy green Fluorite on matrix from Madoc. The crystals are cuboctahedral in habit and many are incredibly gemy when backlit. This is actually an uncommon matrix specimen, as most Fluorites I've seen from this locale are loose singles. The largest crystal measures 1.5 cm on edge. The piece is in fairly good shape from the display side, with some minor contacts, and obviously the periphery is not complete because of where it was removed from the pocket. This is classic Madoc material, and a must have for any Fluorite collector. Good quality all around, and better looking in person. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2279).
