Item Description

A beautiful, sharp, very gemmy, pale lilac (nearly colorless), cubic cubic crystal group with minor red streaks (from iron inclusions) from the premior Fluorite mine in Tunisia! Despite the fact that the back of the piece is contacted, it is still very showy and eye-catching on the display side. A great Fluorite display piece from this somewhat obscure Fluorite locality. Please note that this specimen came labeled as being found at "Hammam Zribe, Tunisia", but I'm sure this is a typo. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#13084). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
