Item Description

Fluorite specimens are rare from this famous locale, renowned for world-class REE species, like Bastnasite-(Ce) and Monazite-(Ce). This attractive and hard to find piece features Intergrown, sharp, cuboctahedral Fluorite crystals with a light green hue and a whitish opaque coating to form a great thumbnail from the Herb Obodda Collection # 1245. Complete all around on the display side, with only a small contact on the bottom where it clearly detached from the pocket. An excellent and rare thumbnail, that is not from the typical pegmatite deposit that we're used to seeing for Pakistan, but from "Alpine-type" veins at Zagi Mountain.
