Item Description
The Naica Mine is a world famous locality, probably best known around the world as the home of the famous "Cave of Swords", which is a giant series of the most exemplary Gypsum crystals in the world. With that said, this mine has produced superb examples of many species including some truly iconic Fluorites. This large cabinet sized specimen features mamy sharp, colorless cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 2.8 cm on edge with associated Calcite, Pyrite and Sphalerite on matrix. The Fluorites are fairly gemmy, and look like beautiful tumbling dice cascading across the specimen. Most of the crystals are in very good condition, though a few small nicks can be seen here and there. We had this piece valued in the inventory at $2,500 for the overall quality and displayability. PLEASE NOTE: This specimen is large and a bit heavy, so an additional shipping charge will be required. Please feel free to contact us before bidding if you have any questions or concerns about our shipping policy. From the collection of Chester ("Chet") S.
