Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, light mint-green, fluorite cubes to 1.5 cm are festooned on three sides of this showy and excellent large specimen from a classic Colorado locale. The cubes have a nifty preferential coating of drusy quartz and rest on drusy quartz and milky quartz matrix. They are not the most beautiful crystals in the world for color, but there is only minimal wear (on one end) and it's remarkably well preserved. This is certainly a very impressive locality piece. Bright purple fluorescence. The piece dates to the 1960s or 70s and is from the Robert Fender Collection.
