Item Description
Elegant and aesthetic 360-degree two-sided fluorite combination from the China's famed Shangbao Mine. A beautiful, variable rich grape-purple, 2.6 x 2.4 x 2.2 cm, fluorite cuboctahedron with stunning bright dense stepped-growth prism faces and a striking glassy smooth termination face is jauntily perched on the sculptural small cabinet combination matrix. Clusters of mirror-bright brass-yellow pyrite cubes are a striking contrast to the porcelaneous saddle-shaped dolomite rhombs and frosted quartz points and quartz crystal sections on both sides of this fine two-sided rib. Shangbao is noted for outstanding fluorite and this is a classic, very showy and excellent small cabinet combination. Older material valued at $500
