Item Description
A beautiful, gemmy, 1.6 x 1.5 x 1.3 cm, blush purple (or magenta depending on the light source) compound fluorite cube with striking violet edge phantoms and satin lustre faces is aesthetically set on the sculptural milky quartz matrix covered with creamy dolomite crystals and pearlescent muscovite blades. The one modified corner to the fluorite cube adds much character. Purple fluorescence. See the 2011 Mineralogical Record article in China-III Special Issue, Vol. 42, No. 6. A classic and highly desirable fluorite style from the famed Yaogangxian Mine.
