In August 2019, collectors were shocked to see a the emergence of the first pink fluorites from Huanggang... a small pocket mined out in just 3 days! Though many of the pink, byssolite-included fluorites from Inner Mongolia, China have found their way into private collections, some less-than-specimen-grade crystals have been faceted into beautiful, pleasing pink gemstones. This octagon cut 23.98ct fluorite has wonderful transparency, showcasing the byssolite inclusions in the crystal beautifully. A great addition for a gemstone collector, or someone looking for a cut example for a rough and cut set!
