Item Description

Another very fine specimen from a NEW find at this remote and prolific skarn deposit in Inner Mongolia. Stunning, water-clear, colorless, fluorite cuboctahedrons with a waxy luster are aesthetically set on the sculptural feldspar and quartz crystal matrix. The octos have glass-clear to lightly frosted/etched faces. The impressive center octo is 2.8 cm. Resembles Nikolaevskiy Mine "invisibles". We have seen other dealers offer similar material for $1000-2000 at shows. Striking new material. The fluorites are difficult to photograph, they are so glassy. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
