Fluorite cuboctahedrons (fluorescent)

Striking, multi-hued rich purple fluorite cuboctahedrons form an impressive and aesthetic large mounded specimen from recent finds at this very well-known Chinese fluorite locale. The very glassy and translucent crystals, to 4.0 cm, have incredibly dense stepped-growth faces. The crystals have a beautiful glow, when backlit. Pristine, except for the modest periphery wear. This dramatic large piece displays well without aid from either side, although the back side does show a bit of underlying matrix. Surreal two-toned fluorescence - purple and ghostly white! Very fine and colorful large material with lots of photos to highlight the quality.
