Item Description
Madoc fluorites are a Canadian classic. This very aesthetic cluster of lustrous, translucent, lightly frosted, sea-green cuboctahedrons is capped by the striking 5.0 x 5.0 octo. A cleave on the right corner and just a bit of bruising on the top corner of the large octo are noted, but this remains a fine, uncommon and highly representative example of the species and noted locale. Cuboctahedrons of this size and quality are uncommon from Madoc. Modest purple fluorescence. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
