Incredibly dense stepped-growth faces characterizes this impressive, glassy, translucent, light seafoam-green fluorite cuboctahedron from the Mex-Tex Mine, near the famous Blanchard Mine. The rich peppering of quartz points on the flanks and preferential iron oxide-coating beautifully accent this fine pristine, accept for the contact at the base, 360-degree fluorite. Rich purple fluorescence. Fluorites of this form, combination and quality are uncommon from the Mex-Tex. Ex Chris Cowan Collection.
