The obscure Ransom Mine is probably best known for its fluorite specimens. This is a striking, very gemmy, lustrous, intensely stepped-growth, cuboctahedral crystal. It looks amazingly like a Mayan flat-topped pyramid with steps on four sides! I have seen very few of these available on the market in recent years and there are no more coming out.
