Fluorite (color change)

Fluorite is found in thousands of localities around the world, often in gem quality material. Recently there was a find of some beautiful color change material in Morocco, and this stone is one of the better examples we've seen. The stones exhibit a gentle light blue color in direct sunlight, and changes to a smoky lavender color in incandescent lighting. Now the color in sunlight is truly the optimal color for the material, and these gems remind me of certain blue Fluorites from Hardin County, Illinois that perform a similar kind of color change. The stone has an "Oval Brilliant" cut and is very slightly included, but still very good quality. This is the only stone I have to offer of these attractive gems, so do not miss out on this one.
