Here we have a large, robust showy and aesthetic display specimen of the classic Fluorites from Berbes featuring a multitude of sharp, gemmy, purple "phantom" cubic crystals measuring up to 3.1 cm on edge sitting atop classic bladed iron-stained Barite crystals on limestone matrix. It's hard to convey in the photos, but the Fluorites are quite gemmy and they're very impressive in person both from the standpoint of quality (very little damage to be seen) and presentation. This area is completely closed down now, so no more of these iconic Fluorites will be found again. The best Fluorites from Berbes are among the finest quality examples of the species in the world from the standpoint of gemminess/clarity and luster, and large cabinet specimens like this are prized by collectors worldwide.
