A beautiful full-sized miniature display specimen filled with strong green colored, sharp, lustrous, gemmy Fluorite cubes from the famous Rogerley Mine in England. With backlighting, you can see some of the crystals are virtually WATER-CLEAR! These fine crystals also exhibit the well-known penetration twin habit that is seen in Fluorites throughout Weardale. The main group of interpenetrating twinned crystals at the top feature individuals measuring up to 1.5 cm on edge. In sunlight or even some halogen lights, the crystals exhibit day-glow fluorescence and show purple and green at the same time. Under UV light, the piece glows with a beautiful bluish color. Simply a fine quality, aesthetic piece of what are some of the most well-known and beloved Fluorites to come out of any world locality in the last few decades. Valued $1,500.
