Fluorite (classic material) (ex Obodda)

Item Description

A fine quality, showy, very gemmy (water clear in areas), lavender colored crystal group of beautiful cubes and tetrahexahedra of Fluorite measuring up to 3.2 cm on edge. The crystals have some additional modifying faces including what I believe to be dodecahedral faces on some of the corners. The piece is in great shape overall, with only a few tiny blemishes. The crystals are incredibly gemmy in some corners, and they were incredibly difficult to photograph, honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district. Valued at $1200. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
