Item Description
A beautiful display piece featuring wonderful Fluorite crystals from the well-known Clara Mine. Very sharp, GEM to gemmy cubes of very pale lilac (nearly colorless) Fluorite measuring up to 1.7 cm can be seen all over this attractive large miniature / small cabinet display specimen. The quality is excellent all around, save the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket. A great piece to add to a German collection, a secondary mineral collection or a suite of German classics. The largest Quartz crystal measures 5 mm. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#D-925). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017). A wonderful German classic from the famous locality. Approximate value is $700-$800.
