Item Description
A wonderful, very gemmy (virtually water clear), "ice cube"-esque crystal group of beautiful purple cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 4 mm on edge sitting on scalenohedral Calcite on matrix. The crystals show tetrahexahedral faces, and looks beautiful under magnification. The piece is in great shape overall, with only a few tiny blemishes. The crystals are quite gemmy and they were incredibly difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district. The specimen comes from the collection of Brian Kosnar.
