Item Description

The contemporary Fluorite specimens from the Diana Maria Mine inside the Rogerley Mine (Quarry) are some of the most recognized examples of the species extant. The vivid color, textbook cubic crystallization and showy display specimens make them highly desirable for collectors. This piece features sharp, lustrous, well-formed, rich green color, cubic crystals measuring up to 1.8 cm on edge, on matrix. The crystals range from very gemmy on the comers to more of a frosted white quality in the centers. The piece has a few contacted areas, but still but is a very good representation of this most classic material. The piece shows the typical daylight purple fluorescence that is often seen in Rogerley Fluorites.
