Item Description

The Clara Mine (Grube Clara) is a famous mine the Black Forset, and dates back to 1726. This well known specimen producer has given collectors some beautiful Fluorite specimens over the years. Collecting on the dumps is still permitted, so specimens find their way to the market from time to time. This piece features sharp, gemmy, beautiful blue color cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 2.3 cm on Quartz matrix. Some of the crystals are contacted, but it's still a fairly overall display specimen from this classic locale. No Fluorite collection is complete without a piece from the Clara Mine.
