Item Description

Mirror-bright, intensely dark purple, nearly black fluorite cubes are very aesthetically piled up on the sliver of matrix of this outstanding miniature from the historic Annaberg District of the Erzgebirge. The striking, dominating cube is 1.1 x 1.1 cm and has only very trivial cornerwear. Classic material from the Tom Moore Collection, who is now an Editor of the Mineralogical Record. Tom lived and worked in Germany for 15 years and has a special attraction to German mineral specimens.
