Item Description
Dramatic and sculptural fluorite from the famous Frazer's Hush Mine. An impressive large elongated cube, 6.3 x 4.2 x 4.1 cm, is aesthetically perched on another cube with smaller fluorites and quartz. The cubes have the classic Frazer's color and look - mottled purple, moderately translucent with satin luster faces. Part of the basal attachment reveals green fluorite, a very nice bonus. The piece has a fine provenance. Originally in the Scott Williams Collection and later in the collection of well-known Northern England specialist and field collector, Lindsay Greenbank, with a 1989 date on his label. You know this is a good one, with outstanding form. Rich purple fluorescence.
