Item Description

Sharp, water-clear fluorite cubes with frosted faces, nifty modified corners and some stepped-growth form a way above average, aesthetic and classic older specimen from the famous mines at Naica. The cubes reach 1.8 cm and they are all pristine. The classic matrix is mixed sulfide crystals with tiny calcite scalenohedrons. Modest purple fluorescence. Ex Jaime Bird Collection. $25 was not cheap in the 1960s or early 70s.
