Item Description

Classic golden-yellow, transparent to translucent fluorite cubes are richly and attractively strewn on the large matrix plate of densely intergrown quartz points on this very fine large specimen from the famous Hilton Mine. The impressive, large isolated crystal is 1.8 cm. Some of the cubes on the left edge even have a purple tint. The dense interior is very nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised edge noted. The periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this impressive large plate. Purple fluorescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. Valued at $800-1000.
