Item Description

Sharp, pink, fluorite octahedrons are aesthetically clustered atop the matrix of quartz and adularia crystals on this showy and excellent combination from the famous Mont Blanc area at Chamonix. The translucent, lustrous crystals have frosted faces and reach 1.5 cm. The prominent octo has a ding on one edge and the back of the termination is lightly cleaved. One of the two terminations on the secondary crystal is slightly bruised. This remains a highly representative example of the speices from this classic specimen. Bluish-purple fluorescence. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection. Value??
