Item Description
Stunning, rich golden-amber fluorite cubes from this well-known fluorite mine at Valzerques, France. This mine is renowned for golden-amber or rich honey-colored fluorites and this is a fine example. The translucent and lustrous cubes, to 1.9 cm, have lightly frosted faces. A very nifty accent are the faint purple edge phantoms, which really add character. Excellent purple fluorescence. Reminds me of some Southern Illinois fluorites. Classic and highly desirable material.
