Item Description

Gorgeous rich golden-amber gem fluorite cubes with cloudy centers are dramatically stacked on this aesthetic and sculptural miniature from this old Sn-W-Greisen mining area of the Czech portion of the historic Erzgebirge. The jauntily placed large crestal cube is 2.4 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm. The area later became a fluorite mining area. Probably from the Vrchoslav fluorite deposit, worked from 1952 to 1969. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 2001. Fluorite specimens of this quality with rich golden-amber color are uncommon from here.
