Item Description
Gemmy, transparent to translucent, pretty green, sharp penetration twins to 2.2 cm cover all sides of the mounded limestone matrix on this showy and highly representative large specimen from recent finds at the famous old Rogerley Mine. Overall in excellent shape, with just a few bruised crystals for such dense coverage. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Note the so-called day-glow purple fluorescence when the piece is placed in normal daylight. It explodes with purple under UV light! Ex Jonathon Allred Fluorescent Collection. 4.0 pounds or 1.8 kilos.
