Item Description
When it comes to modern mineral collecting, one of the true icons from northern England over the last 20+ years has been the beautiful gem green Fluorites from the Rogerley Mine. Here we have a wonderful thumbnail sized specimen of this beautiful material featuring razor-sharp, GEM quality, well-formed, lustrous cubic crystals showing textbook penetration twinning free of matrix. There are a few imperfections here and there, but overall the piece is in good shape. The gorgeous intense green color is iconic for the material, and the piece also shows the classic daylight purple fluorescence when it's exposed to sunlight.
