Fluorite (classic GEM crystals)

Excellent quality, classic, sharp, lilac colored cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 1.0 cm on edge are sitting atop a layer of bladed white Barite and covering the display side of this wonderful specimen from the classic locality, the Jaimina Mine. The piece is in great shape overall, with only a few tiny blemishes. Virtually ALL of crystals are WATER CLEAR but they were incredibly difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. If you look closely, you can see small built-up "hillocks" on the surfaces of the Fluorite cubes, which are actually tiny tetrahexahedral faces that started to form, and quickly fizzled out. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district. Valued at $700.
