Fluorite is one of the most colorful species in the mineral world, and there are large deposits of massive, gemmy material in various world localities that make for excellent carving grade material. Here we have a good sized display piece of carved multicolor purple, colorless and green Fluorite in the shape of a tropical fish (angelfish?) on a small Quartz pedestal. Great color, gemminess, polish and detail make the carving a very worthwhile pickup for anybody who collects gem carvings or colorful display pieces for a curio cabinet, or even a gift for a loved one. Specimen weight is 86.45 cts.
