A classic and most aesthetic combination piece from the famed Elmwood Mine. The classic, 2.7 cm, color-zoned purple fluorite cube has a nifty peppering of brassy marcasite crystals and is beautifully balanced by the 4.0 cm, doubly terminated, gemmy to translucent, highly lustrous, amber calcite crystal. The contrasting matrix is splendent, partially gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite crystals. The calcite is pristine and the fluorite has only the most trivial of edge wear. The composition of this fine piece is first-class. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $100, for free. Ex Charelle and James Webb Collection.
