Item Description

Pretty sea-green, lustrous, translucent fluorite octahedrons with frosted faces are aesthetically set among glassy calcite rhombs on this showy and excellent combination example from this well-known extinct open pit aggregate quarry with ancient underground workings for sulfide veins. The large octo is 1.7 cm. Both species fluoresce (BRIGHT blue-white fluorite and modest pink calcite). Ex Orellana Collection.
