Item Description
A really unusual Fluorite specimen (for Colorado) showing a frosty lavender purple color on the surface, and a much more concentrated purple hue on the bottom. The botryoidal form, along with the attractive color make for an enticing combo for any Fluorite collector, especially a Colorado Fluorite collector. This piece was collected by Don Knowles in 1983. Good quality all around, save the edges where it was removed from the pocket. The piece shows beautiful dark green fluorescence under SW UV light. Ex Brian Kosnar Collection.
