Item Description
A really unusual Fluorite specimen (for Colorado) showing a frosty lavender purple color on the surface, and a much more pleasing hue when backlit. The botryoidal form, along with the attractive color make for an enticing combo for any Fluorite collector, especially a Colorado Fluorite collector. This piece was collected by Don Knowles in 1983. Good quality all around, save the edges where it was removed from the pocket. As you can see, the piece glows under SW fluorescent light, so this is not only an oddity for Fluorite, but a great chance for a fluorescent collector to pick up a piece of this interesting material.
