Fluorite (bi-colored crystals) with Baryte

A wonderful cabinet sized Fluorite specimen from the famed Okorusu Mine in Namibia. This locality is one of the premier Fluorite producers in the world as the sheer the scope and quantity of specimens it has yielded over the years is truly impressive. I have literally seen Fluorite specimens in every color of the rainbow (that included black and colorless) from Okorusu. This piece is from a discovery about 15 years ago and features a group of very sharp, glassy, gemmy, cubic crystals measuring up to 1.7 cm on edge which show classic internal "phantoms" with a mix of green purple hues inside. A small amount of off-white colored Baryte can be seen for a nice touch. There is only minor matrix, so the piece is mostly Fluorite. Fine quality and such a fantastic mix of color! Valued at $950.
