Fluorite (beautiful color zoning)

When it comes to Fluorite specimens, Clay Center is the most well-known Fluorite locality in Ohio. The famous White Rock Quarry produced some of the most unique "root beer" colored crystals from any locality you'll see. This piece features a good sized, sharp, lustrous, cubic crystals with a rich "root beer" color in the center, that grades into a pleasing strong golden-yellow color and end with virtually colorless zoning on the far exterior edges. There are a couple accessory crystals on each side of the main Fluorite for a bit of character. A very attractive and fine quality specimen of these renowned Fluorites.
