Fluorite (beautiful color) with Siderite

One of the rarely seen Fluorite / Siderite combos from the Huanggang Mine in Inner Mongolia, China. We've only had a handful of these to offer, and they came from a very limited discovery a few years ago. This attractive small cabinet features a gorgeous 1.7 cm octahedral crystal of Fluorite which features a beautiful color, that depending upon the lighting may appear more green or blue, or can even show slight lilac flashes. The saturation of the color is strong and looks beautiful when backlit. Associated dark golden-brown, slightly translucent rhombic crystals of Siderite and silvery-grey crystals of Quartz can be seen on the piece for a pleasing contrast of color. The underside of the piece features a slight amount of metallic silver Lollingite, solidifying the origin of the specimen. A beautiful and desirable Fluorite association specimen from this impressive specimen-producing locality. Priced at $1,450 in the inventory.
