Fluorite (beautiful color) with Calcite on Celestine

There are many localities in the Midwestern United States that produce Fluorite, but some of the most iconic and uniquely colored examples are those from Clay Center Ohio. This is undoubtedly the most well-known Fluorite locality in Ohio, as the famous White Rock Quarry has produced these amazing "root beer" colored crystals that are unlike any Fluorites you'll see from almost anywhere. This hefty cabinet sized display specimen is features a few excellent, good sized, sharp, lustrous, cubic crystals with a rich "root beer" color in the center, that grades into a pleasing strong golden-yellow color and end with virtually colorless "phantom" zoning on the far exterior edges. The largest Fluorite measures 4.1 cm across. Additionally you can see there are a few golden Calcite crystals along with several tiny pale golden Fluorite cubes and everything is sitting atop beautiful contrasting thin bladed white Celestine and a bit of dolostone matrix. A few of the Celestine crystals are broken, but the Fluorites are largely in very good shape, with only a few small nicks. A very attractive and fine quality specimen of these renowned Fluorites.
