Fluorite, Baryte & Celestine (Ross Lillie Coll.)

Item Description

A showy, rare and rich two-sided combination rib from this well-known locale. The front is impressively covered with dense, glassy stepped-growth, gem violet fluorite cubes accented with a striking large triangular fluorite crystal. The top and back are totally covered with snow-white barite blades nicely accented with florets of glassy celestine blades along one edge. The edge with no barite is all there, as the attachment is at the base. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 1042 and collected in advance mining in January, 1989. The note on his label says: "A rare combination."
