Item Description

Fluorite balls or hemispheres are quite rare worldwide and this striking and excellent combination specimen is from a small 2000 find at an obscure Indian locale. A 3.1 cm, two-toned brown, wheat and tan, translucent and lustrous, hemisphere is jauntily set on the basalt plate covered with glassy quartz crystals. The ball is pristine, while a bit of bruising is noted on one spot of the quartz. Rare and showy material from this limited find. BETTER IN PERSON!
