Item Description
The scintillating, gemmy, reddish-brown, rubyjack sphalerite microcrystals on this dramatic combination piece are among the finest we have seen from the renowned locale. The sphalerite mound is strikingly and beautifully accented at one end by a 1.9 x 1.7 cm, fluorite cube with intense, stepped-growth faces, giving a flashy, scintillating look and classic, darker purple, edge phantoms. The fluorite is nearly pristine, with only one gently, barely noticeable, cleaved corner. The left side hosts a field of sparkly, drusy quartz, which is uncommon from this famous mine. A very fine combination specimen from this noted locale, with amazing, top-flight gemmy sphalerites. Older material. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
