Fluorite and Quartz - unusual locality

Rarely do we see Fluorite from the Czech Republic available and this is an old piece out of the Kurt Hefendehl collection. It consists of a pair of rather large, intergrown, light seafoam green-gray transparent to translucent crystals highlighted by a several small, sparkly Quartz crystals. The Fluorite crystals are well-formed cubes that measure 4.3 and 4.9 cm along their longest edge, respectively. They exhibit a satin luster and have low to moderate profile, geometric growth hillocks on their faces, some more than others Even with the satin luster you can see into the crystals to a point that they become translucent. The satin luster appears to be the result of light etching of the Fluorites. There are two subsidiary Fluorite crystals on the piece, a single, 1.1 cm cube that sits in a saddle between the two larger crystals and then another 2 cm crystal toward the back. There are at least a dozen, 2 to 3 mm, doubly terminated, glittering Quartz gems that are sparsely scattered on the Fluorites for great affect. There is no real damage on the piece and even the bottom of the piece shows no contacting, just a myriad of small, interconnected, geometric, cubic Fluorite forms that are probably the result of etching.
