Item Description
An impressive large 6.5 x 6.3 x 2.1 cm compound fluorite cube dominates this sculptural and excellent large fluorite specimen from a surprising 2018 find at this extinct less well-known French fluorite and baryte mine. The aesthetically intergrown cubes have high glassy luster, are transparent to translucent and have rich honey-yellow to golden-yellow color. The crystals are selectively coated with tiny, jewel-like quartz crystals, that really add pizzazz to the piece. Bright purple LW UV fluorescence. These are considered to be among the best French fluorites by there in intense color, luster and crystal size.
