Item Description

Sculptural, 360-degree, mounded small cabinet of fluorite and quartz from the 2000s finds at Riemvasmaak. Unique green, gemmy and lustrous fluorite octahedrons are nicely complemented and contrasted by both quartz points and druzy quartz. The prominent, pristine fluorite cluster is highlighted by the 3.5 cm octahedron and the 1.8 cm quartz point at the top is a fine accessory. Bright blue-purple LW UV fluorescence. Complete all-around, nearly pristine with only a minimally noticeable contact along one edge. The piece displays well, as the base has been sawed. Classic contemporary material.
