Fluorite and Galena on Quartz

A truly dramatic and impressive, LARGE CABINET fluorite specimen from recent finds at the famous Rogerley Mine. The very sculptural, mounded matrix is richly and beautifully covered with gemmy and lustrous, pretty green fluorite cubes to 1.6 cm and are very nicely accented with matte-gray galena octahedrons. The sparkly quartz crystal-covered matrix is a superb, starkly contrasting complimen. The cubes have gorgeous, natural purple fluorescence with any stronger light. The multitude of fluorites are nearly pristine, with a bit of very modest periphery wear. Super purple fluorescence, as you would expect!! Very fairly valued at $1750-2000 for size and quality. 5.5 pounds or 2.5 kilos.
