Item Description

The Huanzala mine in Peru has produced some of the most attractive and impressive fluorites from all of South America and this impressive combination specimen is from a recent find in mid-January, 2010. Vibrant, pretty pink, lightly frosted and translucent, fluorite cuboctahedrons are aesthetically set on the mounded, sculptural matrix of mirror-bright, brass-yellow, pyrites and superbly complimented by lustrous, metallic-gray, galena cuboctahedrons. The dramatic large flurorite is a large, 3.3 cm. This very fine example is in excellent shape, with only a trivial bit of periphery wear. Valued at $750-950. SUPER purple fluorescence.
