Item Description
A rare and very aesthetic combination piece from the famous Elmwood Mine. Sharp, splendent, galena crystals are embedded on a beautiful, bi-colored, fluorite cube. The highly lustrous, translucent, fluorite cube is attached to a cleavage of rubyjack sphalerite on the back. The fluorite has very intense, stepped-growth faces, giving a flashy, scintillating look and classic, darker purple, edge phantoms surrounding the amber and then near-colorless core. Well-crystallized galena was never common from Elmwood and the association with fluorite of this quality is rare. Older and special combination material from the Consie Prince Collection.
